Epifanes Clear Varnish

Premium High-Gloss Traditional Yacht Varnish with Superior UV Protection

Epifanes Clear Varnish is a world-renowned, high-gloss traditional yacht varnish formulated with tung oil, phenolic and alkyd resins to deliver exceptional clarity, flow and long-term surface protection. Its unique combination of high build capability, excellent outdoor durability, and an extra UV filter makes it one of the most trusted marine varnishes for both professional and recreational applications.

This varnish dries to a warm transparent amber tone and is famous for its high gloss retention and long service life — even in harsh tropical climates. The flexible resin system prevents cracking and checking on working timber, ensuring a durable, protective film that stands up to changing temperatures, movement and weather exposure.

Designed for both marine and general exterior timber applications, Epifanes Clear Varnish is ideal for brightwork, exterior joinery, trim, accents and outdoor furniture, as well as maintaining intact one- and two-component varnish systems of any brand.

Field of Use
  • New work on bare solid timbers such as mahogany, meranti, Oregon pine and marine plywood

  • Interior and exterior applications above the waterline

  • Suitable for outdoor furniture and exposed timber structures

  • Maintenance of intact existing varnish systems (one- or two-component, any brand)
