Divinycell® H — High-Performance PVC Structural Core

Divinycell® H is a high-performance, closed-cell PVC core material engineered to deliver exceptional mechanical properties at an impressively low weight. With more than 75 years of global use across marine, transport, wind energy, civil infrastructure and industrial composites, Divinycell® H has earned a reputation as one of the world’s most reliable and versatile structural cores.

Engineered for demanding environments, Divinycell® H excels in applications subjected to fatigue, slamming and impact loads. Its unique formulation delivers outstanding shear strength, excellent adhesion/peel strength and superior fatigue resistance — making it a preferred choice for hulls, decks, superstructures, high-load panels, composite tooling and high-performance vehicle structures.

With low water absorption, excellent chemical resistance, very low resin uptake and strong thermal/acoustic insulation, Divinycell® H performs consistently in harsh marine, industrial, Defence and cryogenic conditions — including LNG insulation, blast-resistant structures and low-temperature applications where stability and safety are critical.

Thermoformable and easy to machine, Divinycell® H is widely used in Defence vessels, aerospace interior components, architectural façades, transport vehicles and advanced industrial structures. Available in a wide range of densities and finishing formats, it is fully compatible with epoxy, vinyl ester and polyester resin systems.
