For more than 45 years, ATL Composites has achieved steady growth across Australia and beyond. Founded in New Zealand in 1977, ATL Composites began manufacturing WEST SYSTEM® epoxy for the Asia-Pacific region under licence to Gougeon Brothers Inc (USA). With strong adoption in the professional marine sector, ATL expanded into Australia in 1980, developing its own specialist laminating and adhesive systems.
In 1989, operations relocated to Queensland, where ATL now manufactures WEST SYSTEM® products alongside its own KINETIX®, TECHNIGLUE®, TECHNIFILL®, TECHNIREZ® and DuFLEX® product ranges.
What began as a niche marine supplier has evolved into a diversified composite technology manufacturer, powering industry across sea, land, structure and defence.

In March 2023, ATL was re-certified by DNV — a globally recognised authority in composite compliance — under Approval #AMPM0000003M for the manufacture of fibre-reinforced plastics.
