Technirez R2514 is a solvent free, liquid epoxy resin that will cure at room temperature for tooling and foundry applications. The system will cure to form hard, high impact resistant castings that exhibit excellent mechanical properties.
The low viscosities of the resin and hardener mixtures enables the incorporation of a variety of fillers for casting purposes, or the use of fibreglass for laminating applications.
Typical applications include the casting of foundry patterns, plugs, mould and checking tools.
Technirez A200 aluminium powder is added in high temperature mould making to improve heat conduction, and it can be used as a temperature conductive gelcoat.
