Divinycell® HM — Ultra-Tough Structural Core for High-Performance Marine Composites

Divinycell® HM is a high-performance structural PVC core engineered for applications where exceptional toughness, impact resistance and fatigue performance are essential. Designed specifically for high-speed marine hulls, slamming areas and dynamic load environments, Divinycell® HM delivers a unique combination of very high shear strength and outstanding shear elongation, resulting in a core material capable of absorbing extreme energy without failure.

Its advanced formulation meets — and exceeds — the requirements of ISO 12215, GL and ABS rules, allowing designers to reduce safety factors and achieve lighter, stronger structures without compromising reliability. The material’s high compressive strength provides remarkable resistance to denting, skin wrinkling and point loading, enabling thin-skin laminates without sacrificing durability.

Divinycell® HM also offers excellent thermal stability, making it ideal for dark-coloured hulls and structures where higher processing or operating temperatures can lead to print-through issues. Thermoformable, easy to machine and compatible with all major resin systems, Divinycell® HM is the preferred choice for premium performance in marine, industrial and demanding composite applications.
