Crystic® TC 507 PA

Water & Chemical Resistant IsoNPG Brush Topcoat

Crystic® TC 507 PA is a high-performance IsoNPG topcoat formulated for brush or roller application where durable surface protection, water resistance, and chemical resistance are required. Pre-accelerated for ease of use, this topcoat delivers excellent opacity, even film build, and minimal sag, producing consistent, high-quality finishes.

Designed primarily as a finishing coat, Crystic® TC 507 PA is ideal for applications where the rear or exposed surface of a laminate requires long-term protection from water or mild chemical attack. It is widely used in GRP lined swimming pools, as well as industrial and marine composite structures requiring a robust, protective top layer.

Applications

Crystic® TC 507 PA is recommended for:

  • GRP lined swimming pools
Protective finishing coats for the back of laminates

  • Marine composite structures
    Areas requiring durable water-resistant topcoats

  • Industrial composite components
Protection against moisture and mild chemical exposure

  • Exposed laminate surfaces
Where cosmetic appearance and durability are required

Processing & Application

Crystic® TC 507 PA is pre-accelerated and designed for brush or roller application.

  • Recommended application temperature: 18–25°C

  • Catalyst: 1–2% medium-reactivity MEKP (e.g. Butanox® M50)

  • Recommended wet film thickness: 500–800 microns

Important application notes:

  • Apply only to fully cured, clean laminates

  • Older laminates (>1 week) may require light abrasion prior to application

  • Do not use as an in-mould gelcoat

  • Post curing is recommended to achieve optimum water, chemical, and heat resistance

Packaging & Storage

    • Packaging:

      • Natural – 20 kg pail

      • White – 25 kg pail

    • Storage:
Store between 5°C and 25°C in original, unopened containers in a dry, well-ventilated area. Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.
