KINETIX® R111B – Ultra Bright Surfboard Laminating & Filler Epoxy System

KINETIX® R111B is ATL Composites’ ultra-bright, UV-stable laminating and filler epoxy system engineered specifically for high-performance surfboard manufacturing. Designed to deliver the clearest, whitest and cleanest cosmetic finish possible, R111B gives surfboard builders the ability to produce bright white boards with exceptional optical clarity while maintaining industry-leading mechanical performance.

Formulated with advanced UV optical brighteners and a translucent blue tint, R111B enhances the brilliance of white EPS and PU blanks while achieving the iconic crisp-blue aesthetic associated with polyester surfboards. The resin wets out fibres rapidly, cures quickly at room temperature, and provides a bloom-free, low-odour working environment.

R111B can be used for both laminating and filler/hot-coat stages, offering outstanding strength, superior yellowing resistance, and a smooth, durable finish. When combined with KINETIX® H130 Fast Hardener or H125 Slow Hardener, the system can be tuned for fast, polyester-like production cycles or extended working time for larger or more complex laminations.

The result is an ultra-bright, high-clarity, high-strength epoxy surfboard system that sets a new standard for performance, appearance and reliability in modern surfboard construction.
