TECHNIREZ® R2200 – Fire-Retardant High-Temperature Epoxy Infusion Resin

TECHNIREZ® R2200 is a solvent-free, low-viscosity epoxy infusion and laminating resin engineered for applications requiring fire retardancy and high-temperature performance. Formulated for use with H2403 hardener, R2200 delivers excellent thermal and mechanical properties following post-cure, making it suitable for demanding composite structures where flame resistance is critical.

Optimised for resin infusion and laminating processes, R2200 provides controlled flow characteristics and reliable fibre wet-out, supporting the manufacture of high-quality laminates with consistent structural performance. The system is suitable for infused and hand-laminated components where elevated service temperatures and compliance with fire performance standards are required.

When post-cured to specification, TECHNIREZ® R2200 achieves high glass transition temperatures (Tg) and strong thermal stability. The system complies with UL94-V0 flame-retardant requirements, with laminate thickness and post-cure schedule playing a critical role in final fire performance. As application configurations vary, suitability should be confirmed in consultation with ATL Composites technical representatives.

Typical applications include infused and laminated composite structures, panels, tooling, and components used in industrial, transportation, marine, architectural, and advanced manufacturing environments where fire performance and thermal resistance are essential.
