A quick guide to the most widely used and preferred finishing options.

GPC1

GPC1 has one side of the core grooved and perforated, while the other side has perforations only.  Grooves are spaced at centre to centre of 20mm and perforations are 3mm. Developed to make the infusion process reliable, fast and robust on flat or slightly curved surfaces, while imprints on the surface are minimized.

GPC2

GPC2 is perforated and both sides of the core has a cross grooved surface. Grooves are spaced at centre to centre of 20mm and perforations are 3mm. Developed to make the infusion process reliable, fast and robust on flat or slightly curved surfaces.

PF20

PF20 is perforated in a square grid pattern with centre -centre of 20mm between perforations.  Commonly used in prepreg, vacuum bagging and infusion operations.

GS30

GS30 has a cut pattern on one side of the core – both lengthwise and crosswise – creating small blocks with 30mm between each cut. The blocks are held together by a lightweight fibreglass scrim, creating a very flexible sheet which makes it formable for use in various applications.

GRC6

GRC6 has grooves in longitudinal or transverse direction on both sides of the core.  The distance between the 2mm wide and 2.2mm deep groves at centre -centre of 20mm.  Enables a proper wet out and flow in resin transfer processes.
