R90 — Rapid Cure Epoxy Adhesive

Fast-setting epoxy adhesive engineered for rapid bonding, repairs and assembly.

TECHNIGLUE® R90 is a rapid-cure, high-viscosity epoxy adhesive designed for fast, reliable bonding across a wide range of materials. With a gel time of approximately 4 minutes at 25 °C, the system allows quick fixturing and minimal clamping, making it ideal for production environments, field repairs and small component assembly.

The solvent-free formulation provides dependable bonding performance on timber, fibreglass, ceramics, stone, concrete and many engineering materials. When correct surface preparation is applied, R90 can also bond selected metals and plastics, providing a versatile adhesive solution across marine, industrial and maintenance applications.

With its extremely fast cure profile and easy handling, TECHNIGLUE® R90 enables efficient structural and semi-structural bonding where speed, convenience and reliability are essential.

Rapid Bonding Performance

TECHNIGLUE® R90 is engineered for applications where fast assembly and quick repairs are critical. The rapid gel time enables components to be positioned and secured quickly, significantly reducing downtime during manufacturing, maintenance or installation.

Unlike slower structural epoxy systems, R90 is designed to deliver dependable bonding performance with minimal clamping or fixturing, allowing operators to complete repairs or assembly work efficiently without long cure delays.

This makes TECHNIGLUE® R90 particularly effective for joinery, maintenance, marine repairs and general fabrication where fast turnaround is required.

KEY PERFORMANCE FEATURES

Typical Applications

TECHNIGLUE® R90 rapid epoxy adhesive is widely used where fast bonding and reliable adhesion across multiple materials are required. Its rapid cure and ease of use make it particularly valuable for repair work, joinery and assembly tasks where downtime must be minimised.

WHAT IS A RAPID-CURE EPOXY ADHESIVE?

Rapid-cure epoxy adhesives are two-component systems designed to deliver strong bonds with extremely short working times. Once the resin and hardener are mixed, a chemical reaction begins that rapidly converts the liquid adhesive into a durable thermoset polymer.

These adhesives are widely used across manufacturing, marine and repair industries because they provide:

  • Fast handling strength

  • Strong multi-material adhesion

  • Chemical and moisture resistance

  • Durable long-term bonds

Rapid-cure epoxies are particularly valuable when repairs or assemblies must be completed quickly without long curing delays.

R90 vs Rapid Epoxy Adhesives (Araldite & Epiglue)

Rapid-cure epoxy adhesives such as Araldite® and Epiglue are widely used for quick repairs and general bonding across metals, plastics, ceramics and wood. These systems are known for their convenience and strong multi-material adhesion.

TECHNIGLUE® R90 offers a comparable rapid-bonding solution while being specifically formulated for marine, industrial and composite fabrication environments. Its fast gel time, high viscosity and solvent-free formulation provide dependable bonding performance across a wide range of substrates, making it a reliable adhesive for both professional trades and production environments.
