KINETIX® R120UV – UV-Stabilised, High-Clarity Infusion Epoxy System

KINETIX® R120UV is ATL Composites’ UV-stabilised, low-viscosity epoxy infusion resin engineered for premium cosmetic laminates, exposed composite structures and clear-finish applications. Incorporating specialised UV-stabilisation technology, R120UV delivers excellent resistance to yellowing under prolonged or direct sunlight—helping maintain long-term colour clarity where appearance matters as much as performance.

Developed as an evolution of the proven KINETIX® R118 infusion platform, R120UV retains the excellent processing behaviour and mechanical performance users expect from the R118 family. When paired with H103 Post Cure Hardener, the system produces a colour-clear, optically transparent cured resin—offering a significant visual advantage over standard hardener pairings that typically cure with an amber hue. Post-cure is required with H103 to achieve optimum thermal and mechanical properties; however, this can be achieved effectively at relatively low temperatures, supporting efficient production workflows.

R120UV is compatible with all common reinforcement types, including carbon fibre, E-glass and aramid:

  • Carbon fibre: Delivers a deep, true black cosmetic finish due to the absence of resin ambering

  • E-glass: Can achieve high translucency when processed correctly

  • Clear reinforcements: Enables fully transparent laminates in high-clarity applications

Suitable for a wide range of infusion processes and composite manufacturing environments, KINETIX® R120UV is the go-to option for builders and manufacturers chasing maximum visual quality with durable UV performance.
