KINETIX® R120UV – UV-Stabilised, High-Clarity Infusion Epoxy System

Kinetix® R120UV is ATL Composites’ next-generation, UV-resistant, low-viscosity epoxy system engineered for precision vacuum infusion, SCRIMP, VARTM, RIFT & resin transfer moulding (RTM) applications. Building on the proven performance of Kinetix® R118, R120UV delivers superior fibre wet-out, excellent flow behaviour & enhanced mechanical performance — enabling the production of high-quality, void-free laminates with exceptional structural integrity.

Formulated with advanced UV inhibitors & optical stabilisers, R120UV offers outstanding clarity, long-term colour stability & improved resistance to surface yellowing. Even in resin-rich zones or exposed areas, R120UV maintains a premium cosmetic finish, making it ideal for applications where aesthetics & durability are equally important.

The system features an extended gel time designed to promote consistent flow, uniform fibre wet-out & stable exotherm control across a broad range of environmental conditions. This makes R120UV particularly well-suited for large, complex or high-volume infusion projects where predictable handling & long open time are critical.

When paired with ATL’s compatible amine hardeners, R120UV achieves excellent strength-to-weight performance, high moisture resistance & long-term dimensional stability. Its enhanced UV durability sets a new benchmark for infusion-grade epoxy systems used in marine, architectural, sporting & industrial composite structures where both performance & appearance must be maintained over time.
