Divinycell® PET PL — High-Performance Recycled PET Structural Core

Divinycell® PET PL is DIAB’s next-generation high-performance PET core material engineered to optimise strength, weight and sustainability in modern composite structures. Manufactured from post-industry recycled PET, this thermoplastic, closed-cell foam core delivers excellent mechanical performance while supporting circular material use and reduced environmental impact.

Designed for infusion, RTM, prepreg and press-bonding processes, Divinycell® PET PL offers ultra-low resin uptake, high compression and shear strength, and superior dimensional stability at elevated temperatures. These characteristics allow manufacturers to achieve lighter, stronger and more cost-efficient components — without the need for additional surface treatments.

With excellent chemical resistance, good screw retention (particularly in PL230) and reliable peel strength, Divinycell® PET PL is ideal for marine, transport, wind energy, industrial, architectural and general composite applications where performance, sustainability and processing efficiency are critical.

Compatible with all a large range of finishing options and available in precision-cut kits through ATL Composites, Divinycell® PET PL provides a streamlined, production-ready solution for advanced composite manufacturing.
