R5 – Critical Composite & Metal Bonding

High-strength, toughened epoxy adhesive for critical composite and metal bonding.

BondingTECHNIGLUE® R5 is a low-viscosity, solvent-free, toughened epoxy adhesive designed for high-strength structural bonding across composite and metallic substrates. Formulated for room-temperature cure, R5 provides exceptional bond integrity, outstanding peel strength, and superior resistance to micro-cracking — ideal for demanding applications requiring reliability and durability.

Its toughened chemistry delivers enhanced fatigue and impact resistance, ensuring long-term performance when bonding carbon fibre, Kevlar®, fibreglass, and a wide range of metals. R5 also overcomes common challenges in metal adhesion, offering significantly improved peel strength compared to standard epoxy systems.

Widely used in critical structural assemblies across marine, aerospace, industrial, architectural, and automotive sectors, R5 is engineered for joining composite components, metallic fittings, and pre-fabricated parts in high-load environments. Its combination of toughness, micro-crack resistance, and exceptional adhesion makes R5 a dependable solution for composite-to-composite, composite-to-metal, and metal-to-metal bonding
