TECHNIREZ® R1301 – Fire-Retardant Epoxy Flowcoat & Gelcoat System

TECHNIREZ® R1301 is a solvent-free, fire-retardant epoxy flowcoat formulated for use with H1301 hardener to provide a tough, durable and compliant fire-retardant surface finish. Designed for room-temperature cure, R1301 forms a resilient coating with excellent flexibility, strong chemical resistance and reliable adhesion across a broad range of composite substrates.

Engineered to meet AS/NZS 1530.3:1999 requirements, the system delivers dependable fire-retardant performance suitable for composite components used in building, architectural, mass transit, marine and industrial environments. Its non-sag formulation makes it ideal for vertical and overhead application, enabling smooth, consistent coverage with a single coat using a short-bristle fibreglass brush.

TECHNIREZ® R1301 also functions as a fire-retardant gelcoat, offering versatile application pathways for FRP panels, mouldings and structural components requiring enhanced fire performance, chemical resistance and a high-quality visual finish.
