KINETIX® R246TX – Thixotropic, Extended Working Time Laminating Epoxy

KINETIX® R246TX is a solvent-free, thixotropic laminating epoxy system formulated for room-temperature or low-elevated-temperature cure. Engineered for fibre composite construction, R246TX is ideal for applications where vertical surfaces, heavy laminates or high resin contents demand controlled drainage & stable resin placement.

Its thixotropic structure significantly reduces resin run-off, ensuring even fibre wet-out & consistent laminate quality in complex or high-build lay-ups. With relatively low reactivity, R246TX also delivers extended working times — typically up to 100% longer than R240 when used with compatible hardeners — making it well-suited for large or multi-stage laminating projects.

Compatible with hardeners H126, H128, H160, H161 & H162, the system provides a full range of pot lives & cure profiles.
