KINETIX® R104 – Ultra Clear Surfboard Laminating Epoxy System

KINETIX® R104 is an ultra-clear, high-performance laminating epoxy system designed for premium surfboard construction. Engineered to deliver exceptional optical clarity with industry-leading mechanical performance, R104 produces a bright, clean, bloom-free finish ideal for clear timber laminations, full carbon layups, resin-tinted boards and coloured foam-sprayed surfboards.

Formulated for rapid room-temperature cure, R104 wets out fibres quickly, maintains excellent UV stability and offers long-term resistance to yellowing. Its smooth handling behaviour, low odour and user-friendly working profile make it suitable for both laminating and filler/hot-coat applications.

Cure speed will vary depending on ambient conditions.

For bright-white surfboards using white EPS/PU blanks, ATL recommends KINETIX® R110X or R111B Ultra Bright systems.
