Epifanes Woodfinish Matte

Clear Satin / Matte Finish for Fine Timber, Outdoor Furniture & Marine Joinery

Epifanes Woodfinish Matte is a premium clear satin coating formulated from urethane-alkyd resins and tung oil, designed to deliver a rich, matte appearance on fine hardwoods such as teak, iroko, mahogany, meranti, and other decorative timbers. Milky in the can but drying to a transparent amber satin finish, it provides long-lasting protection against alcohol, household chemicals, moisture and general wear.

Ideal as a final finish coat over a gloss build-up, Woodfinish Matte offers a hand-rubbed, furniture-grade appearance with excellent flow, scratch resistance and weather durability — making it suitable for marine brightwork, premium joinery, indoor and outdoor household timber, and all wood above the waterline.

For best results, apply over several base coats of Epifanes Woodfinish Gloss, Epifanes Clear Gloss Varnish, or a fully cured Epifanes Polyurethane Clear Gloss system.
