TECHNIREZ® R2519 – High-Temperature Epoxy System for Tooling, Casting & Laminating

TECHNIREZ® R2519 is a solvent-free, low-viscosity epoxy system engineered for outstanding high-temperature performance after post-cure. Designed for use with H2403 and H2409 hardeners, R2519 delivers significantly reduced mixed viscosity compared to its predecessor, R2515—while maintaining the elevated thermal resistance required for advanced tooling applications.

R2519 is formulated for the fabrication of high-temperature jigs, tooling blocks, moulds and composite tools, especially those exposed to elevated heating cycles such as pre-preg moulds, vacuum forming tools and industrial thermal processing fixtures. Its improved flow characteristics allow excellent fibre wet-out, reduced air entrapment and smooth casting behaviour, resulting in dense, stable, heat-resistant tooling with reliable dimensional accuracy.

When post-cured according to recommended schedules, R2519 achieves excellent glass transition temperatures (Tg) and maintains structural integrity under repeated thermal loading, making it suitable for demanding industrial, aerospace, automotive and composite manufacturing environments.
