TECHNIREZ® R2523 – Thixotropic White Surface Coating for Tooling & Pattern Making

TECHNIREZ® R2523 is a solvent-free, thixotropic epoxy system designed for use with H2401 hardener to produce a durable white surface coating for tooling, pattern making and master model production. Curing at ambient temperature, R2523 forms a hard, stable surface that can be shaped, cut, machined and polished using standard workshop tools.

The system’s thixotropic behaviour allows excellent build on vertical and contoured surfaces, enabling smooth, controlled application without sagging. Once cured, the surface exhibits high dimensional stability and excellent handling strength, making it ideal for producing master patterns, plugs, detail surfaces and tooling face layers that require accuracy and durability.

TECHNIREZ® R2523 is well suited for composite workshops, model-making studios, marine plug production, prototyping environments and industrial tooling applications where a reliable, easy-to-apply surface coating is required.
