TECHNIREZ® R2529 – Abrasion-Resistant Thixotropic Epoxy Gelcoat System

TECHNIREZ® R2529 is a solvent-free, thixotropic epoxy system specifically formulated for tooling, mouldmaking and pattern-making applications where a tough, abrasion-resistant gelcoat is required. When used with H2429 hardener, the system cures reliably at ambient temperature to produce a resilient, high-strength surface layer capable of handling repeated tooling cycles and mechanical wear.

R2529 provides excellent hold-up on vertical and contoured surfaces due to its thixotropic rheology, ensuring consistent film builds without sagging. Its durable cured surface offers excellent adhesion, strong impact resistance and long-term dimensional stability, making it suitable for gelcoat layers on tooling boards, mould faces, patterns and composite tooling components.

Designed for professional composite fabrication environments, TECHNIREZ® R2529 delivers a clean, solvent-free processing experience with predictable handling characteristics and high-quality surface performance.
