Quick-Drying Golden Teak Impregnating Stain

Epifanes Classic Teak Stain is a fast-drying, impregnating wood stain formulated specifically for bare teak and other marine hardwoods. Designed to enrich and unify timber colour, this stain imparts a warm golden teak tone, enhancing natural grain depth and character.

Engineered for both interior and exterior use above the waterline, Classic Teak Stain can be applied as a standalone colour treatment or as part of a complete Epifanes varnish system. Up to three coats may be applied on bare timber to achieve the desired depth of colour. Once dry, it can be recoated with any Epifanes one-component or two-component varnish, making it a versatile choice for all yacht brightwork and decorative timber projects.

Classic Teak Stain may also be blended (up to 10% maximum) with Epifanes varnishes to create a lightly tinted finish—ideal for blending colour variations or camouflaging inconsistent grain tone in existing systems.

Field of Use
  • Colouring bare teak and other marine woods

  • Interior and exterior brightwork, trim and joinery above the waterline

  • New timber finishing or refreshing aged/discoloured woodwork

  • Creating warm toned, unified colour prior to varnish build coats

  • Tinting Epifanes varnishes for subtle colour adjustment
