Woodfinish Gloss

High-Gloss One-Component Varnish for Oily Hardwoods & Outdoor Furniture

Woodfinish Gloss is a premium, high-gloss, one-component varnish alternative formulated from phenolic-modified alkyd resins and tung oil. Engineered with microscopic porosity, it allows oily hardwoods to breathe while delivering a long-lasting, ultra-clear amber finish. Although milky in the can, it dries to a beautiful high-gloss appearance with exceptional clarity.

Designed specifically for oily timbers such as teak, iroko, and other exotic hardwoods, Woodfinish Gloss provides superior adhesion where traditional varnishes often fail. Its flexible, UV-resistant coating maintains gloss and colour stability in harsh marine and outdoor conditions, protecting timber from weathering, moisture and temperature extremes.

Ideal for marine brightwork, premium joinery, and all outdoor furniture including teak settings, garden chairs, benches and decorative timber features. Suitable for interior and exterior applications above the waterline.

Field of Use
  • Teak, iroko, oak, mahogany, meranti and other hardwoods

  • Outdoor furniture and decorative timber pieces

  • Interior and exterior applications above the waterline

  • Fresh and saltwater environments

Note:
When applied to non-oily wood that does not require breathing, a minimum of 8–10 coats is recommended. Not suitable for bankirai.
